LMK Speed Secret – The new outdoor esses. They look simple at first and can be taken flat, but the line is critical to maximizing grip and minimizing sliding. You’ve made a late apex to the hairpin, so make sure to apex each of the corners, starting here:
At this point, the kart should be against the right side barrier and your eyes should be pointed towards the door. An early apex on the left-hander will hurt you in a number of ways: It will shoot you out towards the wall, meaning you will have to cover extra distance to go back inside the building, and the tighter line will require more steering input which slows the kart and will likely make it slide, causing you to lose momentum. In colder tire temperature and track conditions you will likely need to briefly lift off the throttle before the corner to make sure the kart sticks through the turn without breaking rear traction. Leaning back in your seat will shift weight rearward, also helping rear grip. Continue with a wide arc and treat the corner heading in the building as a normal apex.
