LMK Speed Secret – Trail Braking. Braking shifts weight to the front of the kart, meaning there’s less weight on the rear tires to keep traction. As you brake into a corner with the wheel slightly turned, the kart will want to rotate. It’s a fine line between going straight and spinning so you’ll likely need a bit of practice to master this. (Monday All You Can Drive for $99 is a great way to do this…) This technique will allow you to brake later into corners without losing exit speed, which means faster lap times.
