LMK Speed Secret – The Front Straight. A high top speed down the long straight is very important for a fast lap, so the next two corners are crucial. These are best treated as one long double-apex corner. As you come off of your good exit from the lollipop and approach the first right-hander, use caution with the throttle.
Unless your tires are fully up to temperature, a very quick and momentary lift off the gas here is needed to hold your line. When getting back onto full throttle quickly, make sure to be smooth as this will prevent the kart from sliding wide and breaking traction. Get it right, and you’ll be powering through the entire turn.
As you pass the first apex, make a smooth arc to about the middle of the track and then continue in towards the second apex. Going too wide will mean covering a longer distance than necessary, resulting in a slower lap time. When passing the second apex you should see this:
A fast exit at full throttle will slingshot you down the straight towards the start/finish line and a great lap time!
