Inside Sales Representative

Corporate Sales Objectives
• Prospect, organize sales presentations, close new business
• Develop & farm Corporate Accounts for repeat business
Responsibilities
• Set and maintain monthly sales goals by planning ahead, organizing sales calls and strategies, and using marketing/sales tools to initiate and close business
• Prospect for new corporate, school, and other business
• Make calls & webinar presentations on a regular basis to prospect to close business
• Use company provided sales management software access to organize and report on progress (Salesforce.com)
• Schedule events and enter them into the system
• Hand off closed business to sales manager to assign event coordinator for delivery, greeting of large groups upon their arrival into LMK
• Hand off closed business for coordination of special events, including booking entertainment, catering, creating lists for invitations, coordinating the timeline and all other details
• Work to book and up-sell events and/or up-selling their package from the previous year
• Review and use all the sales tools, processes and guidelines to ensure major group/corporate markets are covered on a consistent, timely basis
• Provide insight into new sales tools, make suggestions and share ideas for new events, promoting new events, and bringing more groups in the door
• Assist in grassroots efforts to spread the word about promotions – i.e., handing out flyers at family-friendly events/places for special events, etc.
• Keep management apprised of upcoming events, especially those that will significantly impact the track and facilities
• Provide input to Director of Marketing re: local advertising opportunities
• Network in the community by attending relevant networking events and activities
